Okay! I completed the challenge! I must say, it was hard work! Maybe I don’t need an anti-aging cream just yet. Lol
I always see these wrinkles on my forehead and around my eyes, so I want to use products for them. I am 34 years old. My body feels much older due to my health the past two years, so I think that is where my brain is at. Every product I try is too heavy.
The first few days, this cream wasn’t too bad, but over the two weeks it just kept feeing heavier and heavier. My verdict is that it would be good for me to add to my regime for a few times a week, but not twice a day. Here are my before and after pictures.
I have noticed that the deep crease I have on my forehead by my right eye has become less prominent, but that is about it.
Overall, I like the product. It is jut a little much for me.
The fast paced, make you want to pull your hair out by the end of the day….
Color calculating, making sense out of client’s rambling, remembering the smallest details of everyone’s lives, helping my stylists be the best they can be, no time to eat drink or pee, oh that is where I want to be!
I miss it so much! Even though I’m not working anymore, I will always be part of that culture. I lived and breathed nothing but the beauty industry for 18 years and it is a part of me. When I walk into a salon, I’m immediately pulled into the culture. I can feel the hair running through my fingers and the satisfaction that I made another client look and feel his/her very best. That is what it all boils down to.
This is the culture I will always belong to.
What a fitting day for the word “New” as my gratitude challenge word today.
I’ve spent the last year working on growing my hair out to its natural color. As a hairstylist, this is no easy task. I’m always seeing and learning the latest trends and wanting to try them out.
The only thing working in my favor over the past year has been my physical state. I just never have the energy to do my hair and it is either just dried naturally and finger combed or thrown in some resemblance of a “messy bun” on top of my head.
For the past two weeks I have really been thinking about coloring it. Thinking that if I color it a bold color, I might feel like I have a little life back in me.
So here is my new hair. It is wet, but you get the point.
I’m taking the L’Oréal Revitalift Triple Power Intensive Moisturizer 14 day challenge. After 14 days using this product day and night, it promises firmer, smoother, more hydrated skin. This cream will visibly reduce wrinkles, re-form contours, and smooth skin roughness.
Here is my before picture…..
When I first applied, it felt super heavy. I was afraid because I have naturally oily skin and I’m acne prone. After rubbing it in, it felt a lot lighter. It has a light clean scent as well, not too strong.
Here is my face after applying the cream. It actually smoothed out my skin a little and toned down the oil some.
